3 students of CSIT Department qualified National Creativity Aptitude Test (NCAT) round 1. The test was held at DGI on March 11, 2019 under the aegis of International forum for Excellence in Higher Education (IFEHE).

One teams of CSIT department qualified for the State Level Competition by winning the Zonal Level in Dr. Abdul Kalam Technical, Literary & Management Fest 2018-19 organized by Center For Advanced Studies, Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University-Lucknow on 15th – 16th February 2019.

Tanish Saxena (3rd Year), Sunny Singh (3rd Year), Sudhanshu Ranjan (4th Year) and Sahil Rajput (4th Year) students bagged Gold Medal in The Humble Encephalon : Quiz Competition during DronaTronix : 2018 organized by DGI-IEEE Student Branch on the occasion of Engineers day on 15th September 2018.
