Symposium on Growth and Prospects of MSME Sector in Emerging Scenario

The Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) in partnership with National Institute for Entrepreneurship and Small Business Development (NIESBUD) organized the 1st National Level Symposium on Growth and Prospects of MSME Sector in Emerging Scenario on 8th and 9th January, 2015 at India Habitat Centre, New Delhi. The symposium was attended by more than 400 delegates representing different Government Ministries, Industry, Industry Associations, Academia, Financial Institutions, Support Organizations and Experts connected with the Sector. Dr. Ritu Soryan, Assistant Professor, Department of management Studies from Dronacharya Group of Institutions, Greater Noida attended the Symposium as a delegate. The aim of this Symposium was to generate awareness on emerging business opportunities for MSMEs in India in the current economic scenario to provide extensive knowledge to participants on supporting programmes / schemes by the Government for the MSMEs.

India-China Trade & Investment Symposium

A symposium on “India--China Trade & Investment” was organized by CII in association with State-Owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of Tainjin Municipal Government, Tainjin Commission of Commerce, Foreign Affairs Office of Tainjin Municipal Government and Tainjin Foreign Service Cooperation on 3 rd March’2015 at Hotel Lalit, New Delhi. Dr. Sahab Singh, Assistant Professor, Department of Management Studies, and Mr. Lokendra Kumar Yadav, student of MBA 1 st year from Dronacharya Group of Institutions, Greater Noida attended it.

The objective of this symposium was to discuss the opportunities of collaboration between two Asian Economic Giants-India and China and to explore the different sectors for ease of doing business in both the nations. It gave a common forum for interaction to the eminent personalities from academics, Governmentalsecretariats and industries.
