iMac LAB

Dronacharya Group of Institutions, Greater Noida has set up a state-of the-art “iMac Lab” consisting of latest gadgets. The lab aims to equip the young technocrats of various domains that drive the digital world like mobile computing, multimedia, cloud computing etc. The lab would provide great opportunity to the students to have hands-on-experience on the incredibly powerful Mac and iOS. This in turn encourages students’ to learn the latest technologies and start-up operations in the fields of social innovation, social change, and social entrepreneurship.

CISCO NETWORKING ACADEMY

Dronacharya Group of Institutions, Greater Noida in collaboration with CISCO has set up CISCO Networking Academy for its students. Cisco Networking Academy transforms the lives of learners, educators and communities through the power of education technology, and career opportunities learners learn to install, operate, configure and verify a basic IPv4 and IPv6 network including configuring a LAN switch, configuring an IP router, identifying basic security threats, understanding redundant typologies, troubleshooting common network issues, connecting to a WAN, configuring OSPF in both IPv4 and IPv6, understanding wide-area network technologies, and getting familiar with device management. It is an authorized centre to provide CCNA R&S certification course training.

E-YANTRA LAB

E-Yantra Lab has also been established by the Electronics and Communication Engineering Department of DGI. It is sponsored by IIT, Bombay and gives an opportunity to gain knowledge beyond the AKTU Syllabus. The Lab consists of Fire Bird V Robotics Kit, Fire Bird V – P89V51RD2 Adapter Card, SPARK V Robotics Kit, Kinect (X-box) sensor, KUKA model of Robotics and more. Students have made many innovative projects with the support provided.

CENTRE OF EXCELLENCE FOR SMART MANUFACTURING

CoESM

Dronacharya Group of Institutions, Greater Noida signed Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME) – Technology Development Center (TDC) to establish Centre of Excellence for Smart Manufacturing (CoESM) - School of Metallurgy for Skill Development on 17th August 2016. The center is one its kind and first in NCR.

The CoESM is established with an objective to:

Make the youth of the country employable by imparting vocational training that bridges the competency gaps to enable the youth to get into the job from the day one.
Make the nation progressive by providing relevant training to the people who are at the bottom of the pyramid & thus eradicating the existing skill gap.

PCB LAB

ECE and EEE Departments of Dronacharya Group of Institutions has established PCBLab. The PCB is widely used in fabrication of electronics as well as electrical circuits. The PCB Centre of Excellence at DGI, Greater Noida is equipped with latest equipment to meet the needs of research & development activities. We upgraded our laboratory with the latest equipment provided by PCB Lab which is a global leader in printed circuit boards designing and fabrication and also supplying machineries with raw materials to develop high quality industry standard printed circuit boards. This collaboration makes our students industry ready. Our lab supports up to eight layers PCB fabrication, each plotter comes with comprehensive LPKF Circuit CAM and Broad Master Software for importing PCB data from any CAD package. Students of DGI have a great opportunity to learn through the equipment of this Lab and make themselves Industry ready.

SPOKEN TUTORIAL

Spoken Tutorial is a multi-award winning educational content portal. DGI, Greater Noida has tied up hands with Spoken Tutorial where one can learn various FOSS (Free and Open Source Software) all by oneself. This is the First FOSS centre of UP in association with Spoken Tutorial Project, IIT Bombay. Spoken Tutorial Project is about teaching and learning a particular FOSS like Linux, Scilab, LaTeX, PHP & MySQL, Java, C/C++,LibreOffice etc. The courses offered are self-paced, multi-lingual and ensure that anybody with a computer and a desire for learning, can learn from any place, at any time and in a language of their choice. End-of-course online tests and certificates are available for those who wish to test their expertise in particular software. These certificates give an edge to students during placement by increasing their employability potential.

ADVANCED TRAINING CENTRE

Dronacharya Group of Institutions has developed an in house Advance Training Centre for the benefit of its students. The training centre is equipped with all modern machineries and equipment for students learning. The centre is equipped with CNC Mill Trainer with Siemens Controller, CNC Lathe HPL 100 with Siemens Controller, BMW Twinpower Turbo In-Line 4-Cylinder 2.0 Litre Diesel Engine, PlC Training Equipment Set 15182546 (provided by FESTO). Students learn by doing self with the help of the trainers. The centre enables the understanding of the operation of CNC, Drive and PLC possible with diagnosis, data backup, programme development, operation simulation and more.

HONEYWELL ICT ACADEMY

ICT Computer Training is renowned nationwide for the high quality of its education and training courses. Dronacharya Group of Institutions gives its students the facility to take the computer training course with ICT Academy at introductory and beginner level and gets progressed to advanced and expert levels. Students get benefitted by participating in online computer training programmes. The students have the opportunity to get certification that is recognized globally, to participate in various Hackathons and Empowerment Summit.

BOSCH TRAINING CENTRE

Bosch Joint Training Centre established jointly by Dronacharya Group of Institutions, Greater Noida and Bosch Limited. The training centre is established as per BOSCH concept. The center has a combination of hardware, teach ware and courseware which is offered by BOSCH as industry oriented training in the field of automobile. It imparts training to undergraduate, students to meet industry requirements, bridging academic gap and enhancing the competency levels of students for better career opportunities.
