Spreading Smiles this Diwali: A Donation Initiative

NSS Units of Dronacharya Group of Institutions (DGI), Greater Noida organized a Charity Donation Drive on 18th October 2025 in the spirit of Diwali, aiming to spread joy, hope, and the true essence of the Festival of Lights among underprivileged sections of society. Donation drive was led by Dr. Mamta Bhardwaj (NSS Programe officer); the initiative witnessed enthusiastic participation from NSS volunteers who distributed essential supplies, nutritious food items, and festive goodies to ensure that less fortunate families could celebrate the festival with happiness, warmth, and dignity.
During the drive, volunteers engaged with the community, understanding their needs and offering support. Their efforts brought smiles, gratitude, and a sense of warmth to the recipients. The event not only provided material assistance but also served as a platform to instill values of empathy, compassion, and social responsibility among the students.
