ATL Outreach Programme

Dronacharya Group of Institutions successfully organized an engaging ATL Outreach Programme under its Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC),Ministry of Education (MoE) with the aim of fostering innovation, creativity, and experiential learning among school students.
The event was coordinated by ATL Coordinator,Prof. (Dr.) Ritu Soryan along with a dedicated team of faculty members and student coordinators. The programme witnessed enthusiastic participation from Class XI Science students of Army Public School, Arun Vihar, Noida, who visited the campus for an enriching academic and technological experience.
The programme commenced with an inspiring welcome address by Prof. (Dr.) Sangeeta Mangesh Karyakarte, Director. In her address, she encouraged students to move beyond traditional learning methods and embrace emerging technologies with curiosity and confidence. As a symbolic gesture promoting sustainability and growth, plant saplings were presented to the esteemed guest, Mrs. Sneh Bhardwaj.
The students actively participated in a series of hands-on technical sessions designed to provide practical exposure to modern technologies. Their first stop was the Robotics Lab, where Dr. Kaustubh Kumar Shukla (Associate Professor, ECE/ECZ/EEE) delivered an interactive session on robotics and automation. The demonstration generated great enthusiasm, and students eagerly engaged in discussions and asked insightful questions.
The next session was a 3D Modelling Workshop conducted by Dr. Saket Kumar(Assistant Professor, Mech. Engg. Dept.) The workshop introduced students to the fundamentals of digital design and modeling, helping them understand how innovative ideas can be transformed into functional digital prototypes. The students participated with great interest and curiosity throughout the session.
Continuing the learning journey, students attended a practical workshop on Web Designing using Figma, conducted by Prof. Anand Singh (Assistant Professor, CSE)
The session covered important UI/UX concepts such as layout design, wireframing, prototyping, and color combinations. To encourage creativity and practical implementation, students were assigned the task of designing a food delivery application. Their innovative approaches and creative designs reflected impressive imagination and technical understanding.
The programme also included a visit to the Apple iOS Lab, where students explored advanced technological resources and modern app development environments. Later, they visited the Audio-Visual Lab and gained exposure to podcasting technologies and multimedia communication tools. The participants showed keen interest in understanding the role of such facilities in enhancing creativity, communication, and skill development.
To appreciate outstanding participation and innovative thinking, three students were awarded prizes for their exceptional performance and creativity during the hands-on activities. Other participants were also recognized with consolation prizes, motivating them to continue exploring and learning emerging technologies.
The day ended on a joyful and memorable note with a group photograph session, distribution of refreshments, and the creation of lasting memories filled with learning, collaboration, innovation, and inspiration.
