Coding Challenge

Young minds are receptive and full of fresh ideas with innovative events. As a step towards achieving this objective and to provide the future Engineers with a forum to display their coding talents, Geeksforgeeks, Student Club Dronacharya Group of Institutions collaboration with the CSE Department and Matrix Coding Club, organized its first coding challenge on 5th February 2022 under the guidance of Prof. Bipin Pandey, which received an overwhelming response from the students. The event was aimed at training the coders for future opportunities and wanted to set one’s sight on the objective of coding. As Covid-19 created many hurdles for all, so the event was conducted virtually and the platform used was D2C (Dare2Complete).
The students were given 6+2 HackerRank Questions and were told to solve the questions in limited given time. The questions were based on easy and medium level. The challenges were electronics shop, breaking the records, migratory birds, rotate matrix, number of steps and many more. The students were judged on the basis of their problem solving capabilities in minimum time and at last the points were evaluated of every participant and the winners were selected. The winners were appreciated and were also received prize money. The winners of the event were:
