International Women’s Day

To honor womanhood Dronacharya Group of Institutions, Greater Noida organized the International Women’s Day through online and offline mode on 8th March 2021.
8th March, considered as International Women’s Day. This day brings many things for women – a cause for celebration, a reason to pause and re-evaluate a remembrance, an inspiration and a time to honour, loved and admired.
For the Online event, the Guest of Honor was Ms. Tanvee - Judicial Officer, posted as Sub-Divisional Judicial Magistrate, (S.D.J.M.) at Deoghar, Jharkhand and Dr. Poonam - Director (Entrepreneurship Education), Head, Regional Centre, Dehradun and Mrs. Vandana Anchalia is a winner of People’s choice Mrs. India (2020) & Founder & Director - Kannan Animal Welfare and Dr. Varsha V. Vaidya - Consultant Pediatric Neurologist and Ms. Prachi Kaushik - Founder & Director of VYOMINI SOCIAL FOUNDATION (VSF)
They were welcomed by Prof. (Dr.) Arpita Gupta Director DGIGN. After a short welcome speech, the Guest of Honor shared their views to inspire and encourage all the women to keep excelling consistency and to keep moving every time.
The session ended with a vote of thanks.
For the Offline event, the Chief Guest was Mrs. Kailash Yadav – Chairperson of Dronacharya Group of Institutions and the Guest of Honor was Mrs. Prem Dahiya, Ms. Kavita Chiller and Ms. Santosh Malik

The celebration was indeed a great initiative by the institute to confer love and gratitude for female students and faculty members. It aimed at imparting the values like empowerment and equality which bestowed the sense of appreciation and respect to the entire female fraternity.
A special program was organized by the faculties and staff of the organization like Group Dance, Poetry and Ramp Walk etc.
The Female employees were felicitated with Mementos by the Chief Guest. This celebration brought fun, happiness, entertainment and a sense of unity among all.
At the end of the session, the winners were appreciated with a small token of love in the form of prize.
