Viksit Bharat Youth Parliament 2027 - District-Level Competition

Dronacharya Group of Institutions, Greater Noida, participated in the Viksit Bharat Youth Parliament 2027 - District-Level Competition, held on 2nd November 2026 at Gautam Buddha University, Greater Noida. A total of 14 B.Tech students from various branches represented the institution, showcasing their knowledge, communication skills, confidence and understanding of important national issues.
The competition provided a platform for young participants to express their views on matters of national importance, demonstrate parliamentary debating skills and contribute their perspectives towards the vision of Viksit Bharat. The event encouraged students to develop leadership qualities, critical thinking and an understanding of democratic values.
Among the participants, Ms. Pragati Jha and Ms. Siddhi Kakkar, second-year students of the CSE department, performed exceptionally well and were shortlisted for the second round. Both students secured their positions among the top 10 shortlisted participants from GautamBudh Nagar district, reflecting their dedication, preparation and impressive presentation skills.
In the final round, Ms. Siddhi Kakkar emerged as the District-Level Winner, securing First Position in the competition. In recognition of her outstanding performance, she received a cash prize of ₹5,000 and a trophy. Her achievement also earned her selection for the State-Level Viksit Bharat Youth Parliament 2027.
Ms. Siddhi Kakkar will represent GautamBudh Nagar district at the State-Level Competition, scheduled to be held at the LokSabha, Lucknow, from 17th November to 7th December 2026. Her success marks a significant achievement for the institution and highlights the importance of encouraging students to participate in platforms that promote civic awareness, leadership and public speaking.
The participation of 14 students and the remarkable achievement of Ms. Siddhi Kakkar reflect Dronacharya Group of Institutions’ commitment to nurturing confident, responsible and socially aware citizens.
