INTERNATIONAL YOGA DAY
21st June 2021
Yoga is the invaluable gift of India’s ancient tradition. It’s not about exercise but to discover the sense of oneness with you, the world and the nature. – PM Narender Modi.
In an effort to participate actively in the International Yoga Day, the NSS Wing of Dronacharya Group of Institutions, Greater Noida organized a Yoga Session on 21st June 2021 for the students, faculty and staff members.
Celebrated on June 21, International Yoga Day commemorates the physical and spiritual prowess that yoga has brought to the world stage. The nature of yoga is to shine light of awareness into darkest corners of your body. The purpose of yoga is to build strength, awareness and harmony in both the mind and the body. It is a great way to work on your flexibility and strength.
Inaugurating the session, Dr. SK Srivastava, NSS Coordinator said, during the current pandemic situation where minds are stressed and souls are disheartened yoga is ultimate solution to channelize positive energy and to neglect the negativity around us.
To learn the artwork of awareness on body, mind and soul the faculty members under the guidance of Mr. Bhuvnesh Khare ( Yoga Guru ) actively performed the various yoga poses and inhaled the fresh air of positivity amid the crisis.
