GAMESENA - Game Tournament

Dronacharya Group of Institutions, Greater Noida in collaboration with 9.9 Group, organized an Online Gaming Tournament on 19^th September 2022.

The objective of the event was to promote the culture of gaming into a more socially acceptable form of recreation and entertainment and to explore and discuss interactive media such as video games. This can increase the participation of Dronacharyans in national level contests.

Online Gaming has emerged as a popular and successful source of e Sports for people of all ages, especially students. With Gamesena, DGI aims to allow its students to enter this emerging and ever-growing field and explore the possibilities of a career in e-Sports.

Mr. Aman Shukla (Head Partnerships) and his team of SKOAR! College Gaming Club (SCGC) visited the College.

The event was coordinated by Ms. Richa Jaiswal (TPO) and Mr. Bharat Bhushan (System Administrator). The team SKOAR was welcomed by Prof. (Dr.) S.K. Srivastava (Registrar DGIGN). 

After a short formal conversation, Mr. Aman Shukla started with briefing the rules and regulation of event.

96 students participated for Gaming Challenge out of which 18 students qualified for the Grand Finale.
