Visit to Vishwa Nirmala Prem Ashram (NGO), Greater Noida

Rotaract Club of Dronacharya Group Of Institutions, Greater Noida undertook a visit to an orphanage, Vishwa Nirmala Prem Arsham located in Greater Noida. The ashram is functioning under the aegis of Mataji Nirmala Devi International Charitable Organization and is meant for girls from the age of five to twenty years.
The visit to the ashram was made by DGI, Greater Noida team comprising of Prof. T.P.N Singh, Advisor (R&D), Prof. (Dr.) H.S. Dua, HOD (ECE), Dr. Sarika Agarwal, Asst. Prof. ECE, Ms. Priyanka Tripathi, Asst. Prof. IT and Ms. Shivangi Maheshwari, Asst. Prof. ME. Meaningful discussions took place between the team and Ms. Geesla Matzer,Executive Director and Ms. Gurdarshan Kaur, Deputy Director of the Ashram. The ashram committee briefed aboutDronacharya Group of Institutions and suggested that computer education and Career Development Lectures can also be organized as and when required.
DGI Team interacted with the inmates (orphan girls) and took a tour of the ashram. The upkeep and cleanliness of the place was excellent. Thereafter, the team distributed woollen inners to all the 53 girls as a helping gesture to brave the winter season.
Management of the ashram was very grateful for the gesture of DGI team and conveyed that interaction should continue resulting in better future prospects for the orphan girls.
