Webinar: The Art and Science of Research Paper Writing

ISTE Student Chapter in collaboration with Institution's Innovation Council (IIC), Ministry of Education (MoE), Dronacharya Group of Institutions, Greater Noida organized webinar on “The Art and Science of Research Paper Writing” on 17^th February 2024. The keynote speaker for the event was Dr. Harimohan Rai (Assistant Professor in the Department of Soft Computing at Gachon University, South Korea). First Year students attended the webinar. Ms. Swati Tyagi and Ms. Dixita Barua were the coordinator of the webinar. 

The objective of the workshop was to make student aware of key points of research paper writing. 

During the session, Dr. Rai covered many minute details that are required for a beginner to start his/her journey in the field of research. He initiated the session with the encouraging words, writing a research paper is not bounded by age or experience it requires an interest. He guided students in identifying areas of interest and keywords. Afterward, he taught how one can search research papers, read and understand them.  He explained students how they can start writing the research paper and told them always to prefer scopus indexed or SCI or UGC care journals for publishing of papers.

In the end, students asked their doubts from Dr. Harimohan Rai. The webinar conclude with the vote of thanks by Ms. Swati Tyagi.
