Upon arrival, the students and faculty were warmly welcomed by the Yakult team. The visit began with an insightful presentation by a Yakult executive, who provided an overview of the company's history, operations, and global presence. This was followed by a tour of the product display area, showcasing Yakult's availability across different countries.
The students then proceeded to the heart of the facility — the manufacturing unit. The guided tour covered various crucial sections of production, including the seed room, probiotic preparation, quality control, and the research and development wing. The entire process, from fermentation to bottling and packaging, was shown to be highly automated, ensuring consistency and hygiene at every stage.
Following the tour, all participants assembled in the seminar hall, where a Yakult representative conducted a Q&A session, addressing students' queries and deepening their understanding of the company’s operations and product development protocols.
