Mr. Avijit Mondal, student of ECE 4th Year, participated in the Innovation Festival - 2015 at National Science Centre, New Delhi on 27th - 29th March 2015 where he displayed his project: Automatic Halogen Light System. A huge crowd visited his stall and showed their interest to his project. The members of jury visited the stalls and appreciated his new idea. His project won a consolation prize of worth INR 1500.

DGI Greater Noida organized one day project competition (INNOMECH - 2015) on 18th April, 2015. Prof. D.V. Bhise, HOD ME, DGI Greater Noida conveyed the idea of INNOMECH - 2015 and its importance to the students and guests. 31 teams including various colleges participated in the event.
