Project titled “IOT Based Health Care System” (Projectee: Saurabh Jiwal (ECE), Sachin Kumar Verma (ECE), Jatin Gupta (CSE) and Lalit Mohan Gupta (EEE)) won the Young Innovator Award during the Innovation Summit, Melting Pot 2020, held at Taj Vivanta Surajkund on 24 and 25 November 2016.

Space Kidz India conducted "Innovate for India" on 3rd Feb, 2017 at Chennai to commemorate the "National Science Day". Ms. Rushali Sharma was selected as an enthusiastic innovator in this Nation building activity for herproject "SAAKSH".

Sudhanshu, Shubham and Chetan of CSIT IV semester received Certificates and Medal of appreciation for their project "KNOCKOUT" being selected in the first four projects.

Three Students of CSIT/IT IV semester selected among top 25 for their project idea "An automated infomation system for agriculture" in the project platform Digital Ocean Campus Shark organized by IncubateHub on January - 27, 2017.

Four Projects Smart GSM Based Solar Powered Crop Harvester, Wireless Advance Tyre Pressure Monitoring System, Hand Talk and Bin-Bot projects from EEE & ECE Department reached in top 15 projects. The projectees were awarded with the certificates.

Innovation Festival 2017 was held at National Sciences Centre, Pragati Maidan from 20-23 Jan 2017. The festival was inaugurated by Mr. R. K. Kotnala, Chief Scientist, National Physical Laboratory, Govt. of India. Project Tittled "Hand Talk" of ECE Department was selected to be displayed at the Pragati Maidan.

A national level project competition “INGENIUM 2016” was organized by Quest Global Engineering Services. project titled “Advanced Agro - Robot” made by student of VII semester Mechanical Engineering Branch was shortlisted from 8060 projects for demonstration & display on 19th September at Hotel Park Plaza, Bangalore. The projectees were awarded with participation certificate during the competition.

National Design Competition on Engineeria - 2016 was organised by Dronacharya Group of Institutions, Greater Noida in Association with CADD Centre, Dwarka on 30 September, 2016. National design competition is a platform open to all the students from Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Architecture, Automobile, Industrial Production, and Product Design for displaying their talents in digital design skills. 150 students from Mechanical Engineering Branch & Civil Engineering Branch participated in the competition & One student Mohit of ME Department reached in final round and awarded with the certificates.

DGI, Greater Noida, organized an online NPTEL Course during the odd semester 2016-2017. NPTEL provides E-learning through online Web and Video courses various streams. Six students from V sem , Mechanical Engineering Branch got elite certificate for the course titled "Manufacturing Process Technology part-II".
