Training Program on AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner (CLF-C01)

Dronacharya Group of Institutions, Greater Noida in collaboration with Honeywell and ICT Academy organized a Training Program on “AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner (CLF-C01)” from 6th - 24th February, 2023. Ms. Sneha Sharma from Honeywell was the eminent trainer of the training program. 65 students attended the training program. The Training Program was coordinated by Ms. Bhanu Bhardwaj (Asst. Professor), Ms. Richa Jaiswal (TPO, DGI) & Mr. Bharat Bhushan (System Administrator)
The Training program's objective was to educate students about the demands of emerging technologies and new exposure.
Prof. (Dr.) S.K. Srivastava (Registrar,DGI) welcomed Ms. Sneha Sharma and explained students the importance of certification. Dr. Bipin Pandey (HOD CSE) gave a brief introduction of the trainer and gave the charge of the podium to Ms. Sneha.
Ms. Sneha provided a brief on cutting-edge and well-liked technology. She outlined all the key concepts using videos and captivating presentation slides.
Following topics were covered for the entire session:
- Cloud Concepts Overview- under the topic, an introduction to Cloud Computing, it’s advantages, briefing about Amazon Web Services (AWS) and the AWS Cloud Adoption Framework (AWS CAF) were covered by the eminent trainer.
- Cloud Economics and Billing- under the topic, fundamentals of pricing, total cost of ownership, billing process and the process of extracting technical support were explained to the students.
- AWS Global Infrastructure Overview- under the topic, AWS Global Infrastructure, services and service category overview was explained to them.
- AWS Cloud Security- AWS shared responsibility model, AWS Identity and Access Management (IAM), process of securing a new AWS account and the method of securing data on AWS account was explained to the students.
- Networking and Content Delivery- under the topic, students were explained networking basics, Amazon VPC, VPC security, Amazon Route 53 and Amazon Cloud Front.
- Compute- under the Compute Module, students were taught the Compute services overview, Amazon EC2, its cost optimization, container services and introduction to AWS Lambda and Elastic Beanstalk.
- Storage- under the Storage Module, students learnt Amazon Elastic Block Store (Amazon EBS), Amazon Simple Storage Service (Amazon S3), Amazon Elastic File System (Amazon EFS) and Amazon Simple Storage Service, Glacier
- Databases- students were explained Amazon Relational Database Service (Amazon RDS), Amazon DynamoDB, Amazon Redshift and Amazon Aurora.
- Cloud Architecture- under this chapter, AWS Well-Architected Framework, Reliability and availability and discussion on AWS Trusted Advisor took place.
- Automatic Scaling and Monitoring- under this topic, students learned about Elastic Load Balancing, Amazon CloudWatch and Amazon EC2 Auto Scaling.
- Assessment- lastly, students were assessed on the topics taught and were awarded with Training completion certificates.
The session was informative for the attendees. Ms. Richa Jaiswal, Head of Training and Placement, gave a vote of gratitude at the conclusion of the Training Programme.
