Independence Day Camp (IDC) 2025

NSS volunteers from Dronacharya Group of Institutions, Greater Noida participated in the prestigious IDC 2025 Training Program held at the historic Red Fort, Delhi. This unique program offered students an exceptional opportunity to blend learning, leadership, and civic responsibility while connecting with India’s rich cultural and historical heritage.
Independence Day Camp (IDC) 2025 was a national-level training program and celebration held at the Red Fort in New Delhi from August 1st to August 15th, 2025, organized by the National Cadet Corps (NCC) and other participating groups like the National Service Scheme (NSS) volunteers and students from various institutions.
During the program, volunteers engaged in workshops, interactive sessions, and activities designed to enhance their understanding of community service, social leadership, and organizational skills. The visit also provided a moment for patriotic reflection, allowing students to appreciate the legacy of India’s freedom struggle and the importance of contributing meaningfully to society.
Through this memorable experience, our NSS volunteers not only gained valuable insights into leadership and teamwork but also proudly embodied the NSS motto: “Not Me, But You.” Their participation reflects DGI’s commitment to fostering socially responsible, community-oriented students who are inspired to make a positive impact on society.
The camp's primary focus was to instill patriotism, discipline, and national pride among the youth through a comprehensive training program culminating in the Independence Day celebrations, which included attending the flag hoisting ceremony led by the Prime Minister on August 15th.
Activities
Training: Cadets participated in rigorous training that emphasized discipline, leadership, and teamwork under demanding conditions, including early mornings.
Cultural Exchange: The camp fostered national unity and understanding of India's rich heritage.
Independence Day: The central event was the grand celebration on August 15th, where participants witnessed the flag hoisting by the Hon'ble Prime Minister and heard his inspiring address.
