Dr. Abdul Kalam Technical, Literary & Management Fest

Center For Advanced Studies, Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University-Lucknow organized the Dr.Abdul Kalam Technical, Literary & Management Fest 2018-19 (State Level) on 15th-16th February 2019.
The event was inaugurated on 15th February 2019 with the Lighting of Lamp by Hon'ble Vice Chancellor Dr. Vinay Pathak, HBTU Vice Chancellor Dr. N.B. Singh, Registrar Mr. Nand Lal Singh, Mechatronics CAS-HOD Dr. Anuj Kumar Sharma, IET Director Dr. H.K. Paliwal and R&D Dean Prof. M. K. Datta.
The Technical Events organized included Robo Race, Robo War, Technical Poster, Bridge Kriti, Coding Contest and Frugal Engineering. In the Management category, Business Plan and in the Literary category JAM (Just a Minute), Debate (Hindi / English) and Check Your Knowledge was organized.
Two teams from DGI who had qualified for the State Level Competition by winning the Zonal Level, participated in their respective events:

On the first day, after the Inaugural Ceremony, JAM (Just a Minute), Bridge Kriti, Frugal Engineering, Business Plan, Debate (English) and Robo Race were organized.
Eight Zones participated in the Robo Race in which the Team from Dronacharya Group of Institutions, Greater Noida was adjudged the winner.
On the second day, Check Your Knowledge, Technical Poster, Coding Contest, Debate (Hindi) and Robo War were organized.
During the closing ceremony prizes were distributed to all the participants.
Prof. (Dr.) Ashish Soti, Hon'ble Director - DGI, Registrar Prof. B.L. Kaul, HOD-CSE Mr. Bipin Pandey, Asst.Professor Ms.Anjali Yadav and all other members of the staff congratulated the team members on their victory and encouraged them to make their knowledge count on many more such platforms.
