Script to Spotlight – Writing the Talk, Talking the Write

Technical Language Society, Dronacharya Group of Institutions, Greater Noida organized an intellectually invigorating event titled "Script to Spotlight – Writing the Talk, Talking the Write" on 23rd May 2025. The coordinator of the event was Prof. Mokshi Khatana and Dr. Lavi Deval. Theevent was conceptualized for B.Tech First Year students to bridge the intellectual space between oration and authorship, underscoring the value of effective communication in the domain of research and technology.
The event aimed to revisit existing research papers related to engineering and technology and inspire students to ideate innovative solutions and concepts. 34 teams participated, including 7 solo presenters and 27 teams of two, culminating in the involvement of 61 research enthusiasts.
Dr. B. M. K. Prasad (Director of DGI), inaugurated the event and addressed the young minds applauding their creativity and encouraging them to think beyond traditional boundaries. He highlighted the crucial importance of interdisciplinary thinking and original ideation in today’s rapidly evolving technological landscape. The event was further honored by the presence of Dr. Shailesh Kumar Singh, (Registrar) and Dr. Pawan Sharma (HOD, APS Department) who commended the enthusiasm and research potential displayed by the budding engineers.
The event was judged by Dr. Deepak Kumar and Dr. Kaustabh Kumar Shukla, who provided valuable insights and constructive feedback to the participants. The presence of faculty members from the first-year departments served to further enrich the event, as they observed the remarkable research acumen and communication skills exhibited by the students.

First Position: Harshita Dargan and Maahira (Section G1B)
Second Position: Avi Rawat (Section G1A)
Third Position: Tanushri Thakre and Srilahari Upadrista (Section G2C)
All winners were felicitated with trophies and certificates in recognition of their outstanding performance. The event highlighted the importance of critical thinking, articulation and innovation in academic discourse. "Script to Spotlight" served as a platform that not only celebrated knowledge but also nurtured the future torchbearers of research and technology.
