Session on Drone Technology

Department of ECE and EEE, Dronacharya Group of Institutions, Greater Noida, organized an awareness session on Drone Technology in association with Betterdrones on 3rd April, 2019. Mr. Kanav Kumar, Business Head and Director, Betterdrones conducted the session.

Mr. Kumar started his talk with the introduction on how he was obsessed to make something useful for the society, which eventually motivated him in building Better Drones. His start up journey began when he was just 17 and one of the founders of a PG accommodation Start-up. 

Mr. Kumar through his interactive session informed the students about latest drones and allied technologies. He spoke about the pre requisites and the market demand in the current scenario. He also explained different applications of drones, such as agricultural, infrastructure analytics, surveying, transportation of products etc. He also spoke about integrating Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Image Processing with drones for various applications. He shared his experience of how he is improving the production of sugarcanes in the fields with the help of drones. He demonstrated several functions of drone.

Mr. Kumar advised the students to utilize their time amicably and always be passionate about their goals.
