NSS Units of Dronacharya Group of Institutions (DGI) solemnly celebrated Parakram Diwas, marking the birth anniversary of Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose, on 23rd January 2026 with great reverence and patriotic enthusiasm.
The programme was graced by the esteemed presence of Director, Dr. Sangeeta Mangesh, Registrar, Dr. Shailesh Singh, Heads of various Departments, faculty members, staff, and many students. The celebration commenced with a floral tribute to the statue of Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose, wherein all dignitaries, faculty members, staff, and NSS volunteers paid their respects to the legendary freedom fighter.
On this occasion, speakers highlighted the unparalleled contribution of Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose to India’s freedom struggle. His fearless leadership, indomitable courage, and unwavering dedication to the nation were recalled with deep admiration. The speakers emphasized Netaji’s ideals of patriotism, self-discipline, sacrifice, and national unity, which continue to inspire generations.
The NSS volunteers actively participated in the programme and played a significant role in spreading Netaji’s message of “Nation First” among students. Through brief speeches and reflections, the programme aimed to remind the youth of the sacrifices made by freedom fighters and to instil values of responsibility, dedication, and service towards the nation.
The celebration of Parakram Diwas proved to be a meaningful and inspiring event, strengthening students’ connection with India’s rich historical legacy and motivating them to follow the path of courage, leadership, and selfless service exemplified by Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose.
