uCertify Training & Learning Pvt Ltd. : Coding Competition

uCertify Training & Learning Pvt. Ltd. organized a programming competition ‘Techwave - 2019’ to recognize and reward champion coders at Dronacharya Group of Institutions, Greater Noida on March 2, 2019.
uCertify, headquartered in Pleasanton, CA, is a leader in career and vocation training and platform. It is the developer of uCertify LEARN, a highly interactive, cloud-based and device-enabled, teaching and learning management platform for online, anywhere, anytime, competency based learning. uCertify platform is equally effective for self-paced, instructor-led or blended learning.
Students pursuing and also the ones who have passed B.Tech, M.Tech, BCA, MCA, Computer Science or any IT related course were eligible. Students from many colleges from Delhi / NCR participated in the coding event.
Senior HR Manager-Mr. Ayush Mittal, along with Miss. Archana Singh-Head Trainer, visited the premises with their 4 technical team members for the conduction of the event.
The event started with formal welcome by HOD CSE - Prof Bipin Pandey. He informed the students about the commonly used programming languages in industry. He also discussed different careers they can make if they are well equipped with coding languages.
After his welcome note, the session was taken over by Mr. Ayush Mittal. He told the students about the history of uCertify and also the kind of growth which they are making. He then advised the students about the rules and regulations of the coding event.
The real action of coding started in the lab. It was a 2 hours rigorous exercise.
After all the students had completed the coding, it was checked thoroughly by the uCertify Team. After a careful evaluation, the winners were declared.
First Prize of Rs 8000 was bagged by Navonil Das-Dronacharya Group of Institutions and Second Prize was won by Jitendra Chauhan- Phonics Group of Institutions, Uttarakhand.
Prof. (Dr.) Ashish Soti, Hon’ble Director and Prof. T.P.N. Singh, Advisor (R&D), Dronacharya Group of Institutions, Greater Noida gave away prizes to the winners.
