Webinar on Significance of 5G Technology

CSI Student Chapter, Dronacharya Group of Institutions, Greater Noida organized the online webinar on “Significance of 5G Technology” on 29th Spetember 2020. Dr. Hajar Binti Ja'afar, Senior Lecturer, Faculty of Electrical Engineering, Universiti Teknologi MARA (Terengganu), MALAYSIA was the eminent speaker.
Prof. (Dr.) Arpita Gupta - Director DGIGN welcomed the guest. After a short welcome speech, she handed over to Dr. Hajar to take the charge.
Dr. Hajar started with the discussion on the evolution of wireless networks towards 5G, the next generation of cellular technology, brings exceptional communications capabilities for utilities and opens new opportunities for collaboration with mobile network operators with recent industrial applications.
She also highlighted on the new mobile technology, 5G, challenges the current scenario in communications by overcoming the flaws of currently working 4G. Such new technology offers to smart cities and intelligent transportation systems a new way to become fully integrated by allowing massive simultaneous connections and ubiquity of network, even under high mobility situations or dense populated areas.
The webinar was knowledgeable as students got to know the recent technology.
