SAEINDIA Collegiate Club, Dronacharya Group of Institutions, Greater Noida organized a visit of Students from Mechanical Department to “Conference on Automation, Digitization & Technology Integration for Mining & Steel” on 22nd August, 2024. The conference highlighted the vital role of automation and digitalization in propelling the mining and steel industries into a new era of growth. The conference focus on the adoption of innovative technology solutions to enhance process efficiency, tackle cost challenges, improve raw material utilization, and boost productivity, ultimately leading to greater profitability. The conference also explored how technological innovation can revolutionize modern iron ore operations and steelmaking.
During the break session, students had the privilege of meeting the Chairman of SAIL India and the Director & COO of JSW Steel Ltd.
Additionally, sessions showcased the latest advancements in automation and AI technologies, emphasizing their potential to optimize production processes, reduce operational costs, and increase competitiveness throughout the entire value chain of the iron and steel sector. The importance of integrating automation and AI in modern steelmaking was also a key focus of the discussions.
