Global CSR Leadership Conclave - 2024

Department of Management Studies Institutions’ Innovation Council (IIC), Ministry of Education (MoE), Dronacharya Group of Institutions, Greater Noida organized an exposure visit to Global CSR leadership conclave -2024 on 20th September 2024 at IIHR New Delhi. First Year MBA students along with Ms. Anu Jain, (Assistant Professor-MBA Department) visited the conclave. The theme of the conclave was viksit Bharat @2047.
The conclave aimed to align CSR efforts with the broader vision of a "Viksit Bharat" (Developed India) by 2047, fostering sustainable development, innovation, and inclusivity across diverse sectors such as education, healthcare, environment, and technology.
The conclave commenced with an inspiring keynote address by Mr. Devendra Kumar Sharma, who emphasized the pivotal role of CSR in achieving a self-reliant and equitable India. A special message highlighted the government’s roadmap for sustainable development and its expectations from corporate entities.

Session 1: "Driving Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) through CSR"
- Discussions revolved around leveraging CSR to achieve SDGs, including poverty alleviation, gender equality, and quality education.

Outstanding CSR contributions were recognized during the awards ceremony for their innovative and impactful projects. Priority areas for CSR were identified, including, Climate action and renewable energy, skill development for youth and access to quality healthcare and education in underserved regions.
The CSR Leadership Conclave, themed "Viksit Bharat @ 2047," served as a platform for envisioning and strategizing CSR’s role in shaping a developed and inclusive India. The event underscored the transformative potential of CSR in addressing the country’s socio-economic and environmental challenges. Students left with a renewed commitment to contribute meaningfully towards the nation’s centennial milestone.
