National Engineers Day Celebration
Internal Hackathon
15th - 16th September 2023
Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC), Ministry of Education (MoE), Dronacharya Group of Institutions, Greater Noida marked the celebration of “National Engineers Day” by organizing an “Internal Hackathon” on 15th – 16th September, 2023. Smart India Hackathon is an initiative to provide students with a platform to solve some of the pressing problems faced in daily lives and thus inculcate a culture of product innovation and a mind-set of problem-solving. 97 teams {570 students (Boys-420; Girls-150)} participated in the Hackathon.
On Day 1, i.e. 15th September, 2023, registered teams were required to give their presentations in MBA-I (Team No. 1-35), Lab No.1 (Team No. 36-70).
On Day 2, i.e. 16th Sep 2023, registered teams had given their presentations in Lab No.1 (Team No. 71-97).
The students showed great enthusiasm and offered out-of-the-box solution to the problems.

Teams have presented their presentation in offline mode during the event organised in college. Based on the evaluation criterion the teams were selected. The judging process of internal hackathon was based on the following parameters:

- Execution Possibilities
- Future Potential/Sustainability
- Team Diversity/ expertise
30 best teams and 5 teams in waitlist were shortlisted for the Smart India Hackathon-2023.
