Janmashtami Celebration

Cultural Club, Dronacharya Group of Institutions, Greater Noida celebrated the festival of Janmashtami; The Birthday of Lord Krishna on 6th September, 2023. All the students, faculty members and the staff members of the college participated in the celebration activities with great enthusiasm.
The campus was decorated with colorful small pots, ribbons and rangoli. Posters of Lord Krishna were also pasted across the walls of the college. The program started with offering prayers to Lord Krishna. The highlight of the day was Dahi Handi program. It was organized in the college premises where all the students and the faculty members jointly formed human pyramid to break the pot filled with curd being hung at a height. This activity symbolizes Lord Krishna’s love for Butter.
Later, a small cultural program was organized by the students of cultural club based on Krishna’s life and stories. The day filled everyone with great joy and excitement.
