Kargil Vijay Diwas Celebration

NSS Unit, Dronacharya Group of Institutions, Greater Noida celebrated “Kargil Vijay Diwas” with great patriotic feeling. 65 students participated in the celebration which took place at the seminar hall.
The celebration aimed at making students pay tribute to the brave soldiers of the country who fought for the safeguard of India during the Kargil War in 1999, a conflict that tested the courage and valor of the Indian soldiers in adverse conditions. Dr. Mamta Bhardwaj (NSS PO) was the eminent speaker at the celebration. She highlighted the sacrifices made by the brave soldiers of the country in protecting the boundaries of the country.
After the motivating speech, everybody stood up for flag hoisting ceremony. The flag hoisting ceremony was accompanied with singing of National Anthem in chorus.
