Institution’s Innovation Cell (IIC), Ministry of Education (MoE), Dronacharya Group of Institutions, Greater Noida hosted an insightful and engaging event on 15th July, 2023, titled "Session on Angel Investment/VC Funding Opportunities for Early Stage Entrepreneurs." The event aimed to provide a comprehensive understanding of the crucial aspects of angel investment and venture capital funding, catering to early-stage entrepreneurs eager to take their startups to the next level.
An illuminating keynote address was delivered by Prof. Richa Jaiswal. She highlighted the significance of angel investment and venture capital funding in driving innovation and startup growth. She explained, VC Funding or venture capital funding is capital that you get from investment groups that work with startups and small businesses. These groups oversee the money of investors who want to invest in companies with strong growth potential in exchange for an equity share in the business. VC funding is one way for small businesses to get money to start or grow business. She also explained the strategies to be used for crafting compelling pitches, understanding investor expectations, building a sustainable business model, establishing valuable relations with the investors and best practices for securing funding.
