Vishwakarma Puja

Department of Mechanical Engineering, Dronacharya Group of Institutions, Greater Noida, organised Vishwakarma Puja on 17th September 2026 with devotion and enthusiasm. The celebration honoured Lord Vishwakarma, revered as the divine architect and patron of engineers, craftsmen, machines, and tools, while reflecting the department’s deep connection with engineering traditions and technical excellence.
The ceremony commenced in the presence of Director Prof. Sangeeta Mangesh and Head of the Department, Dr. Shailesh Kumar Singh, along with faculty members and students of the Mechanical Engineering Department. Their active participation added warmth and significance to the occasion.
Traditional puja rituals and Hawan were performed with devotion, with faculty members and students joining the ceremony and offering prayers for the safety, prosperity, and continued success of the institution, department, faculty members, and students. The sacred rituals created a peaceful and positive atmosphere across the department.
Following the completion of the puja and Hawan, Prasad was distributed among the faculty members and students. The celebration provided an opportunity for everyone to come together and participate in the occasion with faith, enthusiasm, and a shared sense of belonging.
Beyond the religious observance, the celebration highlighted the importance of engineering, technical skills, machines, tools, and the contributions of engineers and technicians to society. It also reinforced values of respect for workmanship, responsibility, teamwork, and dedication within the engineering community.
