Accelerators/Incubation - Opportunities for Students & Faculties - Early Stage Entrepreneurs

Institution's Innovation Council (IIC), Ministry of Education (MoE), Dronacharya Group of Institutions, Greater Noida organized session on “Accelerators/Incubation – Opportunities for Students & Faculties – Early Stage Entrepreneurs.” The orator of the session was Sqn Ldr (Retd) Anjali Joshi. 85 students attended the session.
She explained the difference between Incubator & Accelerator and explained what incubator & Accelerator does. She further added the services/offereings by an incubator & accelerator in terms of infrastructure, Tech credits, knowledge services, proven partner network at discounted prices, software product advisory, product development, CTO Services & fund syndication, portfolio support, product validation & grants & Funds. For raising Capital, she suggested many grants in the form of Govt. schemes (BIRAC, DST, MEITY, State Govt. Programs, Patent reimbursements), CSR & corporate Grants, Awards & Competitions etc. She explained the concept of Pre-incubation to the students as well. The session also encouraged the students to innovative business ideas for their entrepreneurial development in future.
At last, queries were taken up by the speaker of the session. In all the entire session was very informative & students of DGI were benefitted by it very much.
