Project & Poster Exhibition

Project & Poster Exhibition, Innovision (Odd Sem 2018-2019) was organized at Dronacharya Group of Institutions, Greater Noida on 20th Oct 2018. Project Competition was open for students of III, V and VII Sem and Poster Competition for students of I Sem and MBA.
The motive behind the Competition was held to motivate students towards Innovation & Creativity. Focus was on opportunity recognition by students. Advisor (R&D), Prof. T.P.N. Singh said that the ultimate aim is to reproduce the thought and action of students into a creative form, both of which are essential ingredients for technological development. Emphasis was laid on interdisciplinary projects leading to technology diffusion.
Following dignitaries graced the occasion as Guests of Honor and Judges.

Prof. (Dr.) Ashish Soti, Hon'ble Director, welcomed the guests and addressed the students on taking up creative and innovative projects. He stressed upon engineers to be application oriented for which workmanship and a hand on job is of utmost importance. Stress was also laid on original thinking for simple systems to be developed for the benefit of social cause and community welfare.
Prof. T.P.N. Singh advised the students to prepare themselves for taking risks and have the ability to tolerate ambiguities and uncertainties in their journey towards entrepreneurship. Opportunity recognition was stressed for being successful. He rendered a brief description of the projects and posters on display and exhorted the students to excel in the areas of innovation and creativity.
The evaluation committee consisted of four teams headed by Dr. R. Radhakrishnan, Mr. S. C. Gandhi, Prof. T.P.N. Singh & Dr. Rishi Kant . A total of 31 projects and 08 posters were on display by the students.
The projects and posters were evaluated by the concerned teams in terms of their innovativeness, content, societal value, commercial aspect and future scope. Eight projects were shortlisted out of which three were selected for awards. Prof T.P.N. Singh announced the results which were as follows:
- First Prize : Sewage Treatment Plant
(Alok Kumar, Indrajeet Rai, Dharmendra Yadav) - CE VII Sem
- Second Prize : Intelligent Shopping Cart
(Muskan Khemka, Vandana) - ECE V Sem
- Third Prize : Smart Automation Security
(Dravid Nagi, Pulkit Anand, Gurpreet Singh, Ameer Hamza) - CSE V Sem
- Shivani Dwivedi : CSE (A)
- Tushar : CSE (A)
- Aman Chawla : CSE (B)
All awardees received prize money, certificates and medals from the dignitaries. The program came to an end with the Vote of Thanks proposed by Prof. T.P.N. Singh.
