Republic Day Celebration

NSS Wing, Dronacharya Group of Institutions, Greater Noida celebrated 71st Republic Day with patriotic and gaiety fervour at college campus. NSS volunteers decorated the campus with tricolour balloons and Flag.
Hon’ble Director (Dr.) Ashish Soti hosted the flag which was followed by National Anthem. He addressed the students and staff members. He said India adopted the constitution on this day 71 years ago. The constitution was framed by the drafting committee, headed by Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar. According to the constitution, India is a Democratic, Sovereign, Socialist, Secular Republic. On this day, India became an independent republic, as the constitution replaced the previously official Government of India Act of 1935.
Dr. Soti, in his speech said, "All should understand their roles and responsibilities and act according to their responsibilities. He also said all Indians should participate in voting and maintain discipline at all the place and all the time.
The NSS volunteers and students presented various cultural and patriotic programs that depicted their feelings of patriotism.
In the end, sweets were distributed to all the students and staff members.
