Webinar on Role of Virtual and Basic Application (VBA) in Oil and Gas Refinery

Department of Mechanical Engineering, Dronacharya Group of Institutions Greater Noida organized a webinar on the “Role of Virtual Basic Application in Oil and Gas Refinery” on 21^st May 2021. Mr. Amar Prakash from Baker Hughes (American International Industrial Service Company) was the speaker of the webinar. IV and VI semester ME Department students attended the webinar.

The main objective of the webinar was to guide student’s role of database creation and VBA to create easy to use documents for report generation.

The webinar started with the introduction to VBA. Mr. Amar told Visual Basic for Applications (VBA) is a computer programming language developed and owned by Microsoft.  He explained with VBA one can create macros to automate repetitive word- and data-processing functions, and generate custom forms, graphs, and reports. Next he told with VBA it is very easy to create a program for engineering calculations. Inventory Management is also possible with VBA
