Celebration of National Constitution Day

NSS Unit ofDronacharya Group of Institutions, Greater Noida celebrated National Constitution Day with great enthusiasm and patriotic fervour. National Constitution Day also known as Samvidhan Diwas. The event aimed to honour the adoption of the Indian Constitution and to create awareness among students about the values, rights, and duties it enshrines.
The program commenced with the official Pledge Ceremony, where all NSS volunteers, NSS Program Officer Dr. Mamta Bhardwaj and other teaching and non-teaching staff gathered to reaffirm their commitment to uphold the Constitution of India. The Preamble was read collectively, creating an atmosphere of unity, responsibility, and respect for the guiding principles of the nation.
To encourage curiosity and intellectual engagement, the institution organised an Inter-Departmental Quiz Competition on the Indian Constitution. The quiz covered a wide range of topics including constitutional history, fundamental rights and duties, structure of government, amendments, landmark judicial decisions, and the drafting process. Students from various departments formed teams and competed with great enthusiasm. The rounds grew progressively challenging, showcasing the students’ presence of mind and deepening their awareness of constitutional governance. The winning teams were honoured with certificates and appreciation for their outstanding performance.
The event successfully instilled constitutional awareness, civic responsibility, and national pride among the participants. The dedicated efforts of the NSS volunteers and faculty members ensured the smooth coordination and execution of all activities.
Overall, the National Constitution Day celebration served as an important reminder of our collective duty to uphold the spirit of democracy, equality, and justice as envisioned by the framers of the Indian Constitution.
