Workshop on
Introduction to How Data is stored and Manipulated in programming
9th October 2022
Dronacharya Group of Institutions, Greater Noida in collaboration with Edunet Foundation organized a workshop on “How Data is Stored and Manipulated in Programming” on 9th October 2022. 68 students of first year attended the workshop. Dr. Bipin Pandey was the keynote speaker of the workshop.
The objective of the workshop was to introduce first-year students to the fundamental concepts of data storage, manipulation and management in programming.
Dr. Bipin Pandey commenced the session by explaining the critical role of data in programming and how data is represented and stored in computer memory. He covered some of the important topics like variables, data types, arrays, and more advanced data structures, ensuring the students grasped the foundational principles.
Dr. Pandey also explored various techniques used for manipulating data, including operations like sorting, searching, and modifying data, which are essential for solving real-world programming problems. He emphasized the importance of efficiency in data manipulation, especially in large-scale applications. The workshop included interactive sessions, where students participated in hands-on exercises to reinforce their understanding of the concepts discussed.
By the end of the session, students had a clear understanding of how data is handled in programming languages and how they can apply this knowledge in their coursework and future projects.
