DGI NSS Volunteers Mark Independence Day 2026 with
“VandeMataram” Formation at Red Fort

NSS Volunteers of Dronacharya Group of Institutions, Greater Noida, participated in the Independence Day Ceremony 2026 held at Gyanpath, Red Fort, New Delhi, from 1st to 15th August 2026. A group of 50 students from different departments took part in the 10-day rehearsal programme and the final national ceremony on 15 August 2026.
A key highlight of their participation was the coordinated formation of the “VandeMataram” logo, prepared through a series of disciplined rehearsals and synchronized formations. Students were assigned specific positions and trained to follow coordinated movements, requiring precision, patience, teamwork, and consistent effort. Their participation offered a meaningful opportunity to contribute to a prestigious national celebration at the historic Red Fort.
Throughout the programme, students reported regularly at the designated venue and actively participated in rehearsals and assigned activities. Close coordination with NSS officials, faculty coordinators, and participants from other institutions helped ensure smooth execution of the planned formations. The experience strengthened their discipline, punctuality, communication, teamwork, and sense of collective responsibility.
The final presentation on 15 August 2026 marked the culmination of the students’ dedicated preparation. Their synchronized participation in the “VandeMataram” logo formation reflected the spirit of unity and national pride associated with Independence Day and created a memorable experience for the participating NSS volunteers.
Beyond the ceremonial participation, the programme provided students with valuable exposure to the preparation and coordination involved in a large-scale national event. It encouraged them to appreciate the significance of Independence Day while reinforcing values of patriotism, unity, discipline, responsibility, and service to the nation.
