Six-Week Training in AI & ML
11th August to 15th September 2026
Dronacharya Group of Institutions, Greater Noida, conducted a six-week Training Programme on Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning (AIML) from 11 August to 15 September 2026 for B.Tech 3rd-year students of CSE, CSIT, IT, AIML, ECE, and ECZ. Coordinated by Prof. Bipin Pandey, the programme featured expert sessions by Ms. Nikita, Mr. Mohit, Mr. Vipul, Ms. Jyotismita, Mr. Subhanu, Mr. Gourab Panda, Ms. Pooja, Mr. Avishek, Mr. Anuj, and Mr. Aditya, providing students with comprehensive exposure to emerging AI technologies.
Ms. Nikita and Mr. Mohit introduced participants to the fundamentals of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning, covering different types of learning problems along with linear algebra, probability, optimisation, and mathematical foundations essential for AI applications.
Moving into core machine learning concepts, Mr. Vipul and Ms. Jyotismita conducted sessions on Linear and Polynomial Regression, Logistic Regression, Decision Trees, Random Forests, Support Vector Machines, and Clustering, helping students understand the working and applications of various machine learning algorithms.
Mr. Subhanu and Mr. Gourab Panda further explored Deep Learning and Natural Language Processing, covering neural networks, forward and back propagation, RNNs, LSTMs, GRUs, language modelling, Transformers, and Attention Mechanisms. Advanced sessions by Mr. Subhanu and Ms. Pooja introduced participants to tokenisation, word representations, embeddings, BERT, ELMo, quantization, pruning, fine-tuning, PEFT, foundation models, LLM pre-training, instruction tuning, and RLHF.
Exploring the latest developments in AI, Mr. Avishek and Mr. Anuj conducted sessions on Agentic AI, Agent Orchestration and Evaluation, Diffusion Models, and Generative AI. Mr. Anuj and Mr. Aditya further addressed advanced AI concepts and applications, enabling students to gain broader insight into contemporary research and industry practices.
A comprehensive final assessment was conducted on 15 September 2026 to evaluate the knowledge and skills acquired during the programme. Overall, the training offered a progressive learning experience spanning fundamental machine learning, deep learning, NLP, LLMs, Generative AI, and Agentic AI, strengthening students’ technical capabilities and preparing them for further academic, research, and professional opportunities in the field of Artificial Intelligence.
