NPTEL Online Certification Courses
July - October 2016
IT Madras launched the 2016 - 17 Odd Semester NPTEL Online Certification (NOC) Courses which started onJuly 18th, 2016. 93 certification courses comprising of 10 hr, 20 hr and 30 hr courses across disciplines were made available for enrolment and registration.
At Dronacharya Group of Institutions, Greater Noida, 215 students enrolled for 16 different courses. Before the registration of the exam, IITM also provided scholarship in association with the Aricent which brought down the effective exam registration fee to half, for the students whom the scholarship was granted. 93 students registered for the NOC exams.
Students were required to watch the lectures, follow the courses regularly and submit all assessments and assignments before the due date. 69 students appeared for the exams, which were conducted on 25th Sep 2016 and 16th October 2016.
27 students earned the Elite Certificate while one student Prabhakar Kumar earned the Elite Gold Certificate in Project Planning & Control.
Based on the performance of the students Dronacharya Group of Institutions, Greater Noida has been placed as 'A' Categoryfor the session 2016 - 17 Odd Semester.
