"Third National Seminar on Higher Education: What India Needs?" was organized by Centre for Education Growth & Research (CEGR) on 18th March 2016 at India International Center, New Delhi. Prof. (Dr.) S K Bagga, Director, Prof. Aswhani Kumar, Administrator, Prof. D.V.Bhise, HOD (ME), Prof. Vinod Kumar, HOD (ECE), Prof. Manoj Yadav, HOD (CSE), Ms. Shivangi Maheshwari, Asst. Prof. (ME), Ms. Preeti Chawla, Asst. Prof. (CSE), Mr. Raj Ranjan, Asst. Prof. (EEE), Ms. Shailika Sharma & Ms. Gunjeet Kaur, Asst. Prof. (ECE), Dronacharya Group of Institutions, Greater Noida attended the seminar.
The seminar was graced with the presence of following dignitaries:

Centre for Education Growth and Research (CEGR) is an independent Think Tank dedicated towards qualitative, innovative and employability-enhancing education, preparing the next generation as future leaders. The Centre provides a platform for the exchange of dialogue among educationists, Corporate, the media and policy makers to augment educational growth and research.
CEGR has undertaken many initiatives to bring reforms in education especially in the country's need to improve the gross enrolment ratio in higher education, employability and skill development.
On this occasion a book on "Corporate Employment Skills" was launched.
This seminar was followed by "Fourth Rashtriya Shiksha Gaurav Puraskar Ceremony" to felicitate and recognize high level of teaching and learning in Indian Universities and Academic Institutions which have contributed significantly in improving the quality of education, innovation, research and development.
Dronacharya Group of Institutions, Greater Noida was appreciated as the Best College for Innovation. The award was handed over by AICTE Director Dr. M.S. Manna and Hon'ble M.P. Dr. Arun Kumar during seminar.
Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Manna said that besides teaching, Higher Education must be focused on developing skills where the students can think of their contribution to the society, especially for the rural region.
Dr. S.K. Bagga, Director - Dronacharya Group of Institutions, Greater Noida praised the efforts of the students and their mentors. He congratulated all the students because of whom this was possible. He mentioned a few of the recent achievements of DGI students:
