Visit to 19th FICCI Higher Education Summit 2024

ISTE Student Chapter and Institution’s Innovation Cell (IIC), Ministry of Education Dronacharya Group of Institutions, Greater Noida organized a visit to the “19th FICCI Higher Education Summit 2022” which was held at Dr. Ambedkar International Centre, New Delhi from 18th - 19th October 2024. 19 students along with faculty member Mr. Rajat Kumar (CSE Department) attended the summit.
The theme of the summit was "Changing Paradigms of Higher Education in the Global Landscape". The summit brought together over 1,000 delegates from national and international backgrounds, including policymakers, administrators, educationists, and scholars.
Key highlights of the summit included:
Innovative Discussions: The summit focused on contemporary issues and future trends in higher education, aiming to foster innovation and change.
Industry-Academia Collaboration: Emphasis was placed on strengthening the collaboration between industry and academia to enhance India's innovation ecosystem.
Awards and Recognitions: The summit also featured the FICCI Higher Education Awards, where Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE) was honoured with the "Best University of the Year – Established Category" award.
The summit served as a platform for active engagement and collaboration among diverse stakeholders, catalysing a paradigm shift in the way higher education is envisioned and approached.
Students gained insights of policy roadmap and other topical issues in higher education from eminent speakers across the globe. They also learnt, there are ample opportunities available for establishing research networks and partnerships to be made globally.
