Industrial Visit to
Coca-Cola Happiness Factory

ISTE Student Chapter and Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC), Ministry of Education (MoE), Dronacharya Group of Institutions, Greater Noida organized an industrial visit to the “Coca-Cola Happiness Factory” on 24th October 2024. Faculty member Ms. Anu Jain (MBA Department) along with 25 MBA students visited the factory.
The objective of the visit was to provide students a deepen the understanding of supply chain management, marketing strategies, sustainability practices, and the overall production process.
Coca-Cola is engaged in the production of various beverages, including carbonated drinks and juices. According to recent reports, the company serves more than 2 billion servings globally every day, employing 7 lakh individuals and collaborating with approximately 225 bottling partners to deliver its services worldwide.
Company official welcomed students and gave small presentation about the company providing an overview of the company's origin, stake and a comprehensive explanation of the production and operations process.
After a presentation, a guided tour of the production line provided an in-depth look at the manufacturing process, from bottling and packaging to quality control, showcasing advanced technologies that ensure efficiency and consistency. Students also gained valuable insights into Coca-Cola’s robust supply chain operations, which emphasize seamless logistics and inventory management to meet global demand.
The company officials highlighted the brand’s iconic marketing strategies, focusing on emotional branding, customer engagement, and market positioning. Additionally, Coca-Cola’s sustainability initiatives, such as water stewardship, recycling programs, and the adoption of renewable energy, were demonstrated, reflecting the company’s dedication to environmental responsibility.
The visit concluded with an interactive session where students discussed challenges and opportunities in global business with the Coca-Cola team.
Overall, the experience enriched the students’ theoretical knowledge with practical insights, inspiring them to apply innovative and ethical practices in their future managerial roles.
