3 - Days Education Professionals’ Development Programme

Entrepreneurship Development Institute of India (EDII) organized a 3 day FDP on Education Professionals’ Development Programme from 21st - 23rd February 2020. Faculty member Mr. Vineet Kumar Mishra (HOD ME Department), Dronacharya Group of Institutions, Greater Noida attended the programme.
The objective of the FDP was to inculcate the shades of Entrepreneurship Teaching to the academicians from colleges affiliated to Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University, Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh.
An upbeat tone for the programme was set right from the inaugural session by Dr. Sunil Shukla, Director General at EDII, shared insights on developing curriculum on entrepreneurship and stressed upon the importance of giving more weightage to Business Opportunity Identification and Business Plan/ Project in the courses. Dr. Shukla also explained the ways to understand perception of youth towards entrepreneurship as career option.
Various topics were covered by different faculty members, like Entrepreneurship Development Process and Start-up Ecosystem, Start-up Funding, Incubation Process, Role of Mentoring and Building Entrepreneurship Education.
Towards the end of the programme, the participants presented their action plans. Later participants shared their experience and appreciated the curriculum model like Startup ecosystem, interaction with young Startup, IPR, business ideation and model canvas.
