One Day Workshop on Arduino For Teachers
(A Course in the IoT Series)

A one day workshop on Arduino, a course in the IoT series for teachers was conducted by IIT, Bombay, on 8th February 2020 at Dronacharya Group of Institutions, Greater Noida through A – View (RC-1316).. The workshop was organized under the aegis of Pandit Madan Mohan Malaviya National Mission on Teachers and Teaching (PMMMNMTT) funded by the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India.
The workshop was meant for faculties from technical institutions to enhance the skills which in turn would be beneficial for students.
6 participants from Technical Institutions participated in the workshop which was coordinated by Ms. Payal Garg, Assistant Professor, ECE Department, Dronacharya Group of Institutions, Greater Noida.
The workshop was inaugurated by Prof. Kannan Moudgalya, Principal Investigator, PMMMNMTT, IIT Bombay in the presence of Dr. G.V.V Sharma, Associate Professor, IIT Hyderabad. Prof. Moudgalya during his brief on the workshop told the importance of Arduino and its possible applications.
Following the inaugural session, the participants attended the lab session where they performed various tasks using Arduino. They started with basic sessions like blinking an LED and tricolour LED, which went onto creating wireless links using wifi modules and other components. The entire session was conducted by side-by-side learning method.
The workshop ended with a doubt clearing session by IIT-Bombay FOSSEE Team through A-VIEW.
