Summer Workshop : Life By Design
(Personality Development Program)
21st & 22nd July 2018
A two days' Personality Development Programme, 'Life by Design' was organized by the Department of ECE EEE, Dronacharya Group of Institutions, Greater Noida on 21st & 22nd July 2018. The session was conducted by Ms. Rasveen, Assistant Professor Department of ECE & EEE.
In the inaugural session, Hon'ble Director, Prof. (Dr.) Ashish Soti, said that such workshops assist students to groom their personality and prepare them to be better individuals. He elaborated how an individual's personality is the sum total of the person's qualities, characteristics, attitude, quirks, psychological traits, beliefs and motives. This makes his identity. Personality development therefore means an improvement in all spheres of the individual's life, Prof. Soti stressed.
DAY-1, 21st July 2018
Ms. Rasveen focussed on the following points:
- Analyzing strengths and weakness
- Increasing Vocabulary
- Corporate etiquette
- Communication Skills - Listening, Speaking and Writing, Communication barrier
- Building Self Esteem and Self Confidence
DAY-2, 22nd July 2018
The second day focussed on the following points:
- Body Language Caveats
- Group Discussion
- Personal Interview Session
- Current Affairs
- Effective Resume
- Practise Test of individual student on the above learning.
During the feedback session, participants said that the workshop had instilled in them, a sense of confidence. They had learned the tricks to battle stage fear with improvement in their communication skill and current affairs knowledge.
