“Web Designing Competition:Code Craft”

23rd March 2026

Department of CSE - AIML in association with AInnov8 club of Dronacharya Group of Institutions, Greater Noida, organized a Web Designing Competition titled “Code Craft”on 23rdMarch 2026.The event was conducted under the club with the aim of encouraging creativity and enhancing the technical skills of students. The event was coordinated by Ankita Sharma, Assistant Professor in the AIML Department, and was judged by Mr. Vivek Krishna Misra, Assistant Professor in the AIML Department.

It provided a valuable platform for participants to apply their knowledge of programming languages such as C and Python while solving real-world problems in a competitive environment.

The primary objective of the competition was to strengthen students’ problem-solving abilities, coding efficiency, and logical thinking. By engaging students in practical coding challenges, the event aimed to bridge the gap between theoretical learning and practical implementation, thereby preparing them for real-world technical scenarios and competitive programming environments.

The event was conducted as an inter-departmental competition, in which second-year students participated enthusiastically. A total of 17 students registered for the competition. The event consisted of a technical coding round where participants were required to solve two problems—one using the C programming language and the other using Python. The participants were judged on the basis of code correctness, efficiency, logical approach, and execution output.

In the first problem, participants were asked to find the longest subarray with a given sum K using C language, where the array and value of K were predefined. The second problem required participants to analyze a paragraph representing system logs using Python. They were tasked with identifying the total number of words, valid words containing only alphabets, alphanumeric words, words with special characters, and the most frequent word in a case-insensitive manner.

The Code Craft competition proved to be highly beneficial for the participants as it enhanced their programming and analytical skills. It helped them strengthen their understanding of core concepts, improve logical reasoning, and develop efficient problem-solving techniques. The competitive atmosphere encouraged students to manage time effectively and work with greater accuracy. Additionally, the event promoted peer learning and boosted the confidence of participants in coding and debugging independently.

The event concluded successfully, achieving its objective of fostering technical skills and innovation among students. It provided an engaging and dynamic platform for applying programming knowledge in a practical setting. The enthusiasm and active participation of students reflected the success of the event. Overall, Code Craft served as a valuable learning experience and motivated students to further explore programming and prepare for future technical challenges.
