National Pollution Control Day

Institution's Innovation Council (IIC), Ministry of Education (MoE) in coordination with NSS Wing, Dronacharya Group of Institutions, Greater Noida organized a series of competition on “National Pollution Control Day” on 2nd December 2021. 60 students participated in the competition.
The ‘National Pollution Control Day’ (02-12-21) is observed in memory of those who died in the 1984 Bhopal gas tragedy, which occurred on the intervening night of December, 02 and 03 in 1984 at the Union Carbide India Limited (UCIL) plant in Bhopal.
Dr. Prof. K.K. Saini addressed the students, and in an interactive session, he motivated the students to save Mother Nature and gave briefed students on the theme of National Pollution Control Day 2021 which is "Raising awareness about the importance of pollution control". Extempore, speech & pledge taking ceremony was organized on the occasion.
Student enthusiastically participated in extempore and speech competition. A pledge was taken by all the members of DGI including students and staff that we will take forward our efforts to reduce air, water, land, noise & other form of pollution and make this world pollution free.
Winners of the competitions received certificates of appreciation from Dr. Prof. S.K.Srivastava.
