Mahindra First Choice Services (MFCS)

Dronacharya Group of Institutions, Greater Noida hosted the Campus Placement drive for Mahindra First Choice Services for B. Tech. ME and MBA 2017 Batch on 16th & 19th June 2017.
Mahindra First Choice Services is the country’s preferred used car mart and is India’s only organized multi-brand player, with 500+ outlets in 270+ cities in India brought to the market by Mahindra Group.
The company plans to expand this number to 1800 outlets by the year 2020. This implies that customers will soon be able to choose from a wide range of certified used cars throughout India, including the metros and tier-2 towns and cities.
It was a massive 2 day event in which about 200 students from colleges like Dronacharya Group of Institutions, RKGIT, Amity Business School, Apeejay School of Management, BSAITM, IIMT and NIET Greater Noida etc. participated.
On June 16, 2017 the students from these colleges participated in the first round of the placement activity which was the Written Test. The duration of the test was 45 mins and the students were gauged on their IQ and Technical Skills. It was a no negative marking question paper. All the shortlisted students participated on June 19 for the second round.
Mr. Sumanto Sarkar-Head Talent Acquisition, along with Mr. Nischint-DGM, Operations and his TEAM visited the premises on June 19, 2017 for the conduction of the second day placement event.
The first round was the company’s presentation in which Mr. Nischint briefed the students about the profile and the company’s work culture. He ran the students through MFCS history and also the future vision and mission statement. He also apprised the students of the career growth once they are a part of MFCS as young GETs’. He also took up the question and queries from the students.
Next was a communication round with the students to gauge their communication skills. The students were made to sit in a group of 10 and the HR and Operations interacted with them.
The students who cleared the GD went through a testing PI with the HR and Operations. They were tested upon their Leadership skills, work culture adaptability, and their work flexibility.
After a full day of buzzing activity, the placement activity came to an end with the vote of thanks from the Training & Placement Officer of DGI, Ms. Prachi Agarwal.
