IB-HUBS Start-up School

The project Khet-e proposed by the students Abhushan Ojha, Shubham and Sudhanshu Ranjan Chaudhary of CSIT/IT Department (3rd year) from Dronacharya Group of Institutions, Greater Noida was selected in IB-hub Start Up School. These students were called for one month internship (11 June-8 July, 2017) at IB-Hub Start Up School, Lucknow.
iB Hubs Startup School works on instilling entrepreneurial mindset in youngsters who would act as role models for their peers and the society as a whole. iB-Hubs envisions to develop a culture of innovation and entrepreneurship in every nook and corner of India.
The training program, which was spread over 4 weeks, trained the participants in the following arena:
- Defining the Problem Statement
- Getting to The Value Proposition
- Defining the Segments Of Business Model Canvas
- Design Thinking
- Product Development
- Marketing
- Soft Skills Development
- Elevator Pitch
- Pitch Deck
Inaugurating the 4 weeks Accelerating Program at iB Hubs Startup School, Mr. S Vijay Kumar, Chief Mentor, said Developing an entrepreneurial mindset will enable youngsters to see opportunity in every problem they come across. As this influences them to start discussing about solutions rather than complaining about problems, the country will see a phase shift.”

The iB Hubs Startup School Program focused learning and rapid experimentation that enabled student entrepreneurs to step out of their comfort zone to build, launch and scale their ventures. The program helped student entrepreneurs adopt the lean startup and design thinking principles, identify and validate their target customers, master the business model canvas, build team competencies and learn the nitty gritty of fundraising.
The program culminated with a Demo Day on 8th July, 2017 where participants got opportunities to pitch their ventures in front of renowned angel investors and venture capitalists. Mr. S Vijay Kumar said that this initiative by team iB Hubs would empower student entrepreneurs as the Indian startup ecosystem matures.
