DRON-PRATIBIMB 2025

Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC), Ministry of Education (MoE), Dronacharya Group of Institutions, Greater Noida organized its Annual Tech Fest “DRON-PRATIBIMB 2025” from 24th - 26thApril 2025. The three-day celebration comprised a series of technical, cultural and sports events aimed at nurturing and showcasing the talents of students across all departments. The fest was organized under the visionary leadership of Prof. Sanghamitra V Arora, RDC Head and Incubation Convener.
The event was inaugurated on 24thApril 2025 in the Auditorium in the esteemed presence of Prof. (Dr.) B. M. K. Prasad, Director and Dr. Shailesh Kumar Singh, Registrar of the institution. The ceremony was graced by all Heads of Departments, event coordinators Dr. Pallavi Verma, Prof. NandiniTomar, Prof. Ashish Kush, and Prof. Mokshi Khatana, along with faculty members and a large number of enthusiastic students. This year, the fest witnessed participation from more than 350 students who registered for various competitions across disciplines.
Inauguration ceremony was followed by technical and cultural events. The second day, 25thApril was dedicated to sports activities. On the final day, 26thApril the grand finals of all competitions were held followed by a Prize Distribution Ceremony that acknowledged the winners and celebrated the participants' efforts.
The technical events were coordinated under the guidance of Dr. Pallavi Verma, (Associate Professor, EEE Department). These included a range of engaging and intellectually stimulating competitions such as AI Gen: The Digital Cinema Showcase by Dr. Mamta Bhardwaj, UX/UI Competition by Dr. Rajat Kumar, Technical Quiz by Mr. Vivek Krishna Mishra, The Assembly of Voices by Dr. Ankita Srivastava, and Roborace by Dr. Kaustubh Kumar Shukla. These events provided a platform for students to apply their theoretical knowledge and showcase innovation and creativity.
Simultaneously, a variety of cultural programs were conducted under the leadership of Ms. Nandini Tomar, Assistant Professor, Department of CSE. Cultural events brought a burst of artistic energy to the campus with performances in categories like Rap (coordinated by Ms. AlkaParihar), Instrumental Music (Mr. Vishnu Kuntal), Singing (Ms. Ankita Sharma), Dance (Dr. Arpana Mishra), and Skit & Nukkad Naatak (Mr. Aman Sanghi). These events allowed students to explore and express their creative sides, making the fest vibrant and lively.
The sports events were managed by Mr. Ashish Kush and Ms. Mokshi Khatana, saw active participation from students in both indoor and outdoor games. Competitions were held in High Jump (Dr. Himanshu Chaudhary), Long Jump (Mr. Abhishek Kumar, CSE), Discus Throw (Mr. Vishnu Kuntal), Shotput (Mr. Parth Sharma), Javelin Throw (Mr. Shantanu Pant), Badminton (Dr. Gopal Singh and Ms. Sarita Tiwari), Kho-Kho (Mr. Abhishek Kumar and Ms. Manu Sharma), Basketball (Dr. Deepak Kumar and Ms. Kajol Kathuria), Volleyball (Dr. Anirban Mishra and Ms. Ankita), Tug of War (Mr. Bharat Bhushan and Mr. Mukesh Kumar Bhardwaj), Chess (Ms. Priyanka Asthana), Table Tennis (Mr. Ashish Patel), and Carrom (Dr. Sahab Singh). These events not only encouraged fitness and team spirit but also enhanced competitive zeal among students.
Throughout the fest, discipline and order on the campus were effectively maintained by all Heads of Departments and senior faculty members with support from Dr. Deepika Agarwal, Mr. Ankur Sachdeva, Mr. Mukesh Kumar Bhardwaj, Mr. Manoj Kumar Yadav, Dr. Sahab Singh, and Dr. Lily Kumari.
The fest served as a training ground for students preparing them for future academic and professional competitions. It also played a significant role in building self-confidence reducing performance anxiety and helping students recognize their strengths. In conclusion, the event was a grand success, leaving a lasting impact on the participants and contributing meaningfully to their personal and professional growth.
